Recap: Colleton County Cougars vs. Bluffton Bobcats
The Colleton County Cougars had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against Bluffton by a score of 56-47. That's another feather in the cap for Colleton County, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Colleton County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brian Hamilton, who scored 11 points along with two steals. Hamilton hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Mykeem Gant, who scored 12 points along with three blocks.
Colleton County is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Bluffton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing James Island the next time they take the court. Colleton County will host James Island at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Bluffton will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
