Clyde came tearing into Tuesday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Gibsonburg Golden Bears 7-0. The result was nothing new for the Fliers, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Clyde's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Gibsonburg, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-4.
