Football Recap: Immaculata Runs Past Peddie

Immaculata won against Kellenberg Memorial last Saturday with 45 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Spartans came out on top against the Peddie Falcons by a score of 45-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Daysir Spille had a dynamite game, rushing for 297 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 50 yards. Brian Cilento was in the mix too, providing Immaculata with two scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Immaculata was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 376 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Peddie's loss came despite strong showings from Joey Gaston and Jeremiah Davis. Gaston gained 327 total yards and a touchdown, while Davis gained 245 total yards and two touchdowns.

Immaculata's record now sits at 2-0.

Immaculata has already played their next matchup, a 56-14 victory against St. Francis Prep on the 12th. As for Peddie, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 29-13 loss against Wyoming Seminary College Prep on the 13th.
