Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Choctawhatchee

Choctawhatchee entered their tilt with Fort Walton Beach on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Vikings 3-0. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-5, 25-5.

Airabella Delay went supernova, getting seven digs and six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Delay wasn't the only good server: Choctawhatchee was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive matches.

Choctawhatchee's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Fort Walton Beach, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Choctawhatchee is taking a road trip to face off against Niceville at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fort Walton Beach, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Jefferson on the 29th.
