Estrella Foothills proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 12) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let the Paradise Honors Panthers get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on five straight.

Estrella Foothills saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alec Schaeffer, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Estrella Foothills' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-10. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Paradise Honors, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Estrella Foothills will host ALA - Queen Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wolves 4, the Patriots 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Paradise Honors, they will welcome Arcadia at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
