Baseball Recap: Oldham County Takes a Loss

Oldham County lost to North Oldham on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Colonels took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Colonels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Daniel Stewart made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Oldham County's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for North Oldham, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oldham County will host Carroll County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Oldham, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Ballard at 12:00 p.m.
