Volleyball Recap: Southwest Edgecombe Has No Trouble Against Eastern Wayne + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Farmville Central, SouthWest Edgecombe was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eastern Wayne Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: SouthWest Edgecombe took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-14.

The victory got SouthWest Edgecombe back to even at 8-8. As for Eastern Wayne, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. SouthWest Edgecombe will host North Pitt at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastern Wayne, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Smithfield-Selma at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
