Bradford scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Middleburg Broncos by a score of 19-17. The defeat continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their meetings with the Broncos: they've now lost three in a row.

Nehemiah Flowers was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaedan Parks, who scored three runs while going 3-for-5.

Even though they lost, Bradford always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Bradford's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Middleburg, they moved to 9-11 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Bradford will head out on the road to square off against Williston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Williston will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
