Salem waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Corydon Central Panthers get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Salem's record now sits at 12-9. As for Corydon Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11-1 record this season.

Salem will venture away from home to square off against Charlestown at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Corydon Central, they will take on Heritage Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season.
