Soccer Recap: North Mason Comes Up Short

North Mason lost against Port Angeles back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 4-1 to the Roughriders. While losing is never fun, North Mason can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 234th, while Port Angeles are ranked 104th).

North Mason's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Port Angeles, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, North Mason will venture away from home to square off against Olympic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Mason will be up against Olympic's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.55 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Port Angeles, they will welcome Kingston at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Port Angeles are facing Kingston at the right time seeing as Kingston are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
