After a string of three wins, Dripping Springs's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the College Park Cavaliers.

Henley Anderson paced Dripping Springs' offense, picking up ten kills. Anderson got some help from Allie Jenkins and her 16 assists.

College Park found their leader in freshman Abby DiMatteo, who had 11 digs and two assists. DiMatteo is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Caroline Prihoda also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Dripping Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for College Park, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-8.

Dripping Springs has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Fulshear on the 30th. As for College Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Clear Springs on the 30th.
