Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Summit's Ninth in Last Ten Outings + How To Watch

Gallatin typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Summit proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Green Wave.

Summit had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 28-26, 25-21, 25-16.

Bella Lambert was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 14 digs and seven assists. Those seven assists gave her a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Gallatin lost, don't look at Skylar Wilson. Despite the final result, she had 22 digs and eight aces. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Summit is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-8 record this season. As for Gallatin, their loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-11.

Summit didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Siegel on the 21st. Gallatin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
