Basketball Recap: Owen County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Carroll County last Tuesday, Owen County came back down to earth. The Owen County Rebels fell 56-43 to the North Oldham Mustangs on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Owen County's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for North Oldham, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Owen County has already played their next match, a 54-36 victory against Eminence on the 8th. As for North Oldham, they will square off against Collins at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
