Volleyball Recap: Poughkeepsie Takes a Loss

Poughkeepsie lost against Barack Obama School for Social Justice back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Pioneers lost 3-0 to the Lightning.

While Poughkeepsie was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Barack Obama School for Social Justice's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-22.

Poughkeepsie's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Barack Obama School for Social Justice, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Poughkeepsie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Barack Obama School for Social Justice, they will host Gorton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
