Glide waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Harrisburg Eagles. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Samantha Moyers was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits. Moyers was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gracelynn Schartz, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Peyton Geiger was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs and one RBI.

Glide's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Harrisburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

As of now, neither Glide nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
