Soccer Game Preview: Marist vs. Carmel

Marist is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Nazareth Academy on Wednesday. The RedHawks fell just short of the Roadrunners by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Carmel, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over IC Catholic Prep on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Carmel needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Marist's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-5-2. As for Carmel, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6-2.
