Baseball Recap: Bel Air Comes Up Short

Bel Air made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Fallston, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bobcats fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 9-7 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bobcats have suffered since March 25th.

Connor Vecchioni made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Ferrell, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Bel Air and nudges their season record down to 3-9. As for Fallston, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

While Bel Air had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
