Basketball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

If Halfway wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lighthouse Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Judah Louderback. The Lighthouse Christian Chargers snuck past the Halfway Cardinals with a 63-59 win on Tuesday thanks in part to Louderback, who posted 16 points and three steals. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Lee Stinson, who scored seven points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

Lighthouse Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points over those games. As for Halfway, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-4.

Lighthouse Christian and Halfway should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Lighthouse Christian (ranked 88th) will meet St. Louis HomeSchool P (ranked 364th) at 10:15 a.m. on Friday. Lighthouse Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.1 points per game this season. Similarly, Halfway will take on Humansville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 308 places (161 vs. 469).
