There's no place like home for Windber, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They slipped by the Meyersdale Red Raiders 24-23 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Ramblers in their matchups with the Red Raiders: they've now won six in a row.

Windber got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ike Serenko out in front who picked up 92 receiving yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 31 yards and one score. Serenko also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making seven total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending two passes. Nokosi Fowler-Whetstone was another key rusher, rushing for 138 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.1 yards per carry.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Windber proved: they limited Meyersdale to a paltry 2.5 yards per carry. The team can thank Serenko for the heroic effort on defense: he. Windber's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.1.
