Basketball Recap: Memorial Takes a Loss

Memorial was the 54-48 winner over Union City when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Memorial Tigers lost to the Union City Soaring Eagles on the road by a 57-42 margin on Thursday.

Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Union City, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Memorial will be home for the holidays to greet Kearny at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Union City and Northern Highlands will compete for holiday cheer at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
