Basketball Recap: East Greenwich's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Greenwich). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Toll Gate Titans 56-28. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

East Greenwich's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-7. As for Toll Gate, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

East Greenwich and Coventry will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. East Greenwich has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Toll Gate, they will take on Rogers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
