Basketball Recap: Peak to Peak Makes It Seven in a Row on the Road

If Stargate School wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Peak to Peak, they should've done a better job of containing Alexandra Eschmeyer. The Peak to Peak Pumas really took it to the Stargate School Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-12 win thanks in part to Eschmeyer, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 15 boards. Her evening made it 11 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Neve Gustafson, who posted eight points and seven steals. Those seven steals gave her a new career-high.

Peak to Peak's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for Stargate School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Peak to Peak has already played their next game (against Forge Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Stargate School will challenge Jefferson Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson Academy's defense has only allowed 25.3 points per game this season, so Stargate School's offense will have their work cut out for them.
