Baseball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 13-1 to the Dunbar Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-8 back in February.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Dunbar, their win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-7.

Madison and Dunbar will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Trojans see the field they'll take on Keene at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Dunbar, their break will end when they face Diamond Hill-Jarvis at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
