Volleyball Recap: South Beloit Beats Warren for Their Fourth Straight Victory

South Beloit came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins dating back to last season, and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Warren Warriors. The Sobos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

South Beloit never let Warren on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23.

Serena Hoffman paced South Beloit's offense, picking up ten kills. Hoffman got some help from Macey Lineman and her six assists. Hoffman was also a major player on defense: she and Charlie O'Brien shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

South Beloit's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Warren, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, South Beloit will face off against Monroe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warren, they will challenge Stockton at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
