Lawndale dropped their record down to 4-6 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Leuzinger Olympians, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Cardinals couldn't push the score so high this time.

Emely Garcia was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. Darryn Dean was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run.

As for Leuzinger, their record now sits at 12-5. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by ten runs or more this season.

On Leuzinger's side, Victoria Gonzalez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Gonzalez was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Leuzinger got a massive performance out of Jacqueline (Jaycee) Chavez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs Chavez has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Naleeah Cruz, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Leuzinger beat Lawndale by a score of 19-5 on Thursday.
