Softball Recap: Gloucester County Tech Takes a Loss

Gloucester County Tech lost to Kingsway back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Gloucester County Tech fell just short of Kingsway by a score of 8-7.

Cameryn Hilliard made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Madison Kroupa, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Gloucester County Tech's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Kingsway, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.

Gloucester County Tech and Kingsway should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. Gloucester County Tech (ranked 82nd) will meet Maple Shade (ranked 249th) at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Kingsway will challenge Egg Harbor Township at 4:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (14 vs. 110).
