After having lost a blowout in their previous game against DeMatha, Eagle Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They managed a 71-65 win over Monroe Campus. Given Eagle Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while Monroe Campus is ranked 93rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.2 points per game. As for Monroe Campus, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
