After only one run in their last contest, Dunkirk made sure to put some runs up on the board against Jamestown on Wednesday. The Marauders blew past the Red & Green 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Marauders, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Paul Trippy, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Leone, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Dunkirk has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Jamestown, they moved to 4-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Dunkirk didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-3 victory against Olean on the 17th. As for Jamestown, they have also already played their next game, a 17-3 defeat against Frontier on the 16th.
