Juarez-Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss. They took an 81-65 bruising from the Cigarroa Toros. One positive for the Huskies, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Juarez-Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Cigarroa, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-14.

Juarez-Lincoln and Cigarroa could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Juarez-Lincoln will square off against Rio Grande City at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday down 1,103 places (1578 vs. 475). Meanwhile, Cigarroa (ranked 1228th) will meet Nixon (ranked 302nd) at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th.
