Basketball Game Preview: North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] Bearcats vs. Larimore Polar Bears

The North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] Bearcats will take on the Larimore Polar Bears in a tournament on Saturday.

Back in December of 2024, North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 69-63 to New Rockford-Sheyenne. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game back in December of 2024 (61), the Bearcats still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Larimore didn't have too much trouble with Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] on Friday as they won 52-33.

One of the most notable was Mason Myers, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Gratton, who posted four points along with six boards and four steals.

Larimore's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland], their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
