Basketball Recap: Kearns Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Kearns lost to Taylorsville back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Kearns Cougars managed a 59-55 victory over the Taylorsville Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Isaiah Cruz had a dynamite game for Kearns, going 9 for 18 en route to 22 points. Aiden Oliver also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Taylorsville's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kobe Allen, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds. The match was Allen's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Logan Bertagnolli was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 16 boards.
