Basketball Game Preview: Becker Bulldogs vs. Princeton Tigers

Becker hasn't had much luck against Princeton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Becker Bulldogs are taking a road trip to square off against the Princeton Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Becker knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 games -- so hopefully Princeton likes a good challenge.

Becker can't be too worried about heading out to take on Princeton: they just beat Zimmerman at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Becker walked away with a 76-63 win over Zimmerman on Friday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Princeton challenged Chisago Lakes Area on Thursday. Princeton took a 98-87 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chisago Lakes Area. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (67), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

Becker is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.5 points over those games. As for Princeton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-12.

Becker couldn't quite finish off Princeton when the teams last played back in January and fell 94-91. Can Becker avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
