Football Recap: North Myrtle Beach Takes a Loss

North Myrtle Beach lost against Loris back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chiefs were dealt a 53-14 defeat at the hands of the Lions.

Zamire Gerald produced another solid performance throwing for 272 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 31 yards for Loris. Roderick Purcha also helped with two scores in total.

North Myrtle Beach's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Loris, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, North Myrtle Beach will venture away from home to square off against Marlboro County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Loris, they will welcome Socastee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Braves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
