Basketball Game Preview: Concordia Mustangs vs. Mercy Monarchs

Having just played yesterday, the Concordia Mustangs will get right back to it and host the Mercy Monarchs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Concordia will be strutting in after a win while Mercy will be coming in after a defeat.

Concordia took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They skirted past Plattsmouth 40-37.

Meanwhile, Mercy came up short against Roncalli Catholic on Thursday, falling 59-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Monarchs have suffered against the Crimson Pride since February 4, 2021.

Concordia's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Mercy, they dropped their record down to 9-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
