Flag Football Game Preview: Kimball Jaguars vs. Liberty Ranch Hawks

The Kimball Jaguars will head out on the road to take on the Liberty Ranch Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Kimball comes in on 21 and Liberty Ranch on 19.

On Thursday, Kimball needed a bit of extra time to put away Tracy. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Bulldogs 26-25. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 176th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Emma Coronado continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 316 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.1% of her passes, and also rushing for 83 yards and one score. 93 of Coronado's passing yards were hauled in by Anaiya Garcia.

Meanwhile, Liberty Ranch put their dominant defense on display in the team's sixth consecutive shutout on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Galt 58-0. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won 13 games by 27 points or more so far this season.

Kimball's record now sits at 24-1. As for Liberty Ranch, their record is now 20-2.
