Soccer Game Preview: Glenbrook South vs. Loyola Academy

The Glenbrook South Titans will head out on the road to square off against the Loyola Academy Ramblers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Glenbrook South gave up the first goal on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They won by a goal and slipped past Niles North 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for Glenbrook South.

Victor Jodlowski and Sasha Raguimov scored all three of Glenbrook South's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Loyola Academy kept a clean sheet against DePaul College Prep on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Rams. That's two games straight that Loyola Academy have won by just one goal.

Glenbrook South's win bumped their record up to 11-8-1. As for Loyola Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5-2.

Everything went Glenbrook South's way against Loyola Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Glenbrook South made off with a 5-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
