Grand Ledge has been on the road for six straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will host the Waverly Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Grand Ledge will be strutting in after a victory while Waverly will be coming in after a loss.
Last Thursday, Grand Ledge got the win against Holt by a conclusive 3-0.
Grand Ledge never let Holt on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 26-24.
Meanwhile, Waverly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against DeWitt, falling 3-0.
Waverly was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made DeWitt work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 28-26, 25-13.
Grand Ledge's win bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Waverly, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
