Tristan Griffin Turns in Season-Best Performance
Tristan Griffin produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Iraan to the win on Friday. Griffin rushed for 271 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 16.9 yards per carry. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 134 rushing yards.
Griffin must have Sterling City's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Griffin last faced the Eagles back in October of 2023, he rushed for 222 yards while picking up 9.7 yards per carry.

On Friday, Iraan got the W thanks in part to Aiden Mendoza playing the best football he has all season. Mendoza rushed for 161 yards on only five carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
This season, Mendoza has averaged 17.3 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after ten games last season, he was only averaging 4.5 rushing yards per game.
