Basketball Game Preview: Junction City Dragons vs. Woodlawn Bears

The Junction City Dragons are taking a road trip to face off against the Woodlawn Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Junction City is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Junction City will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Ouachita, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Junction City came out on top against Ouachita by a score of 54-47 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Woodlawn, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 49-36 victory over Parkers Chapel on Tuesday.

Junction City is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.9 points per game. As for Woodlawn, they pushed their record up to 15-12 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Junction City won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in January, slipping by Woodlawn 47-46.
