Soccer Game Preview: Richland vs. Kennewick

The Richland Bombers are taking a road trip to take on the Kennewick Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kennewick took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Richland, who comes in off a win.

Richland's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Hermiston. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Richland.

Andrew Gallegos and Evyn McLellan scored both of Richland's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, Kennewick entered their game against Pasco on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs.

The victory got Richland back to even at 4-4. As for Kennewick, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.

Richland beat Kennewick by a goal in their previous meeting back in March, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bombers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
