Football Recap: Union Cougars vs. Morgan Trojans
Union fell victim to Morgan and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were beaten by the Morgan Trojans 72-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost nine in a row.
Beck Sheffield was his usual excellent self, throwing for 169 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes for Morgan. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Korth, who rushed for 102 yards on only nine carries.
Union's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Morgan, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0.
