Niles and St. Joseph are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Vikings will host the Bears at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

St. Joseph will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Niles extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. The Vikings blew past Mishawaka Marian 15-5.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Joseph). They put the hurt on Berrien Springs with a sharp 18-3 victory on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bears with their most commanding win of the season.

The win got St. Joseph back to even at 4-4. As for Niles, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

Niles got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against St. Joseph by a conclusive 13-4 score. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
