Football Recap: Needles Starts Season with Win Against Parker + How To Watch

Needles had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They snuck past the Parker Broncs with a 20-14 win on Thursday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Mustangs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 782nd in California, while the Broncs are ranked 159th in Arizona).

Coming up, Needles will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Monument Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Parker, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Fountain Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
