Prosser's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Grandview Greyhounds by a score of 6-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Branden Clarke was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aaron Gonzalez, who scored a run and stole two bases.

Prosser's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 3-8. As for Grandview, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Prosser will face off against rival Ephrata at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Grandview is set to challenge their familiar foe Selah at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
