Basketball Recap: Cerro Gordo/Bement Triumphs

Cerro Gordo/Bement lost to Argenta-Oreana back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Broncos secured a 64-59 W over the Bombers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Argenta-Oreana lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jaxon Finch, who shot 50% from the field en route to 31 points. His big performance that morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Carter Logue was another key player, going 5-for-8 on his way to 14 points in addition to six boards and three steals.
