Volleyball Recap: Calloway County Comes Up Short

Calloway County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Mayfield Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Calloway County's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Mayfield, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Calloway County will welcome Murray at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Lakers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Mayfield, they will square off against Christian Fellowship at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
