After flying high against The Burlington School on Friday, Burlington Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Royals fell 3-1 to the Woods Charter Wolves on Monday. The Royals' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 26-28, 25-16, 25-20.

Burlington Christian Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ali Moldt, who had three digs and three aces, and Anna Wilson, who had 11 digs and two aces. Moldt is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Burlington Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Woods Charter, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Looking ahead, Burlington Christian Academy will square off against Caldwell Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woods Charter, they will challenge Chatham Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
