Football Game Preview: Brooklyn Hurricanes vs. Trinity Trojans

Brooklyn is 0-6 against Trinity since October of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Hurricanes will head out on the road to face off against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m.

Brooklyn is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Independence on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Hurricanes lost 28-6 to the Blue Devils. The Hurricanes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

Brooklyn didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Bentley Cox and Lyle Taylor.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Beachwood 55-7. The Trojans have beaten the Bison the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bison has come to flipping the script.

Brooklyn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Trinity, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-5.

Brooklyn was dealt a bruising 40-12 loss at the hands of Trinity in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Hurricanes were down 27-6.
