Soccer Game Preview: Richmond vs. Algonac + How To Watch

The Richmond Blue Devils will square off against the Algonac Muskrats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Richmond's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, neither Richmond nor Almont could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Algonac fell victim to Yale and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 6-0 to the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Algonac can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 440th, while Yale are ranked 198th).

Algonac's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. With that draw, Richmond's record moves to 8-6-3.

Everything went Richmond's way against Algonac in their previous matchup on September 3rd, as Richmond made off with an 8-0 win. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Muskrats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
