Volleyball Recap: Carbon Hill Takes a Loss

Carbon Hill saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Pennington Tigers by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Carbon Hill sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 11-25, 15-4.

Carbon Hill's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Pennington, they moved to 3-9 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Carbon Hill will face off against Oakman at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Pennington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cleveland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
